Vehicle Dwelling in the twenty first century has become the true tiny house movement. It is fascinating to see how folks have transformed their vehicles into homes. I find myself envious of their ability to let go of material things and find contentment in a minimal of belongings.
Vehicle dwellings come in all sizes, from 57 footers to Toyota Prius’. Imagine traveling this great land of ours, and being unburdened and financial free, gosh what a way to go. Yes I know, I know, I know!!! There are still financial responsibilities such as car insurance, twice a year, new tags, bi-yearly, and quarterly oil changes, regular tire rotations and miscellaneous maintenance. But imagine the freedom.
March 2019, my lease is up, after 15 years of gun fire, fist fighting adults, and unruly children I am escaping to my vehicle and hopefully more peaceful living. In my twenties I roamed the freeways of California, this time around I would like to cover from Maine to Mexico and from Colorado to the Florida Pan Handle. I would like to see first hand, what sea to shining sea, has to offer.
Presently, I am seeking a tiny house builder willing to expand his or her know-how, and design a tiny home on wheels, encased within a 2014 Jeep Patriot. Is there anyone out there, who can help a Sista out? Help me begin my next adventure, to live “Houseless-but-not-Homeless in my Jeep,”
Are U Out there?
All things working together for my good, I will be on the road 2020. I didn’t start this year, attempting to spend down and eliminate a little more debt, as well as putting myself in a healthier place of well-being. But the road is calling. 👌🏽
Take me with you sis! I’m so OVER bills!!!!!
